Participating companies agree to:

Bullet Provide background details on your internship requirements
Bullet Review resumes of qualified applicants provided by the Emerging Leaders Program Management Team
Bullet Provide a minimum eight-week paid internship to applicants who meet your business requirements
Bullet Cover the cost of reasonable accommodations for interns (e.g. sign language interpreters).
Bullet Allow interns up to three days of paid time off to participate in the Leadership Development Conference typically held in New York City on a weekend in June and cover the cost of travel, hotel accommodations, and out-of-pocket expenses.
Bullet Provide NBDC with timely updates throughout the hiring process, including which candidates you have interviewed, to which candidates you have made offers, and which candidates have accepted your offer
