To qualify to apply for the Emerging Leaders program, you must:

Bullet Self-identify as a person with a qualified disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act as amended
Bullet Have completed a minimum of 60 college/ university-level credits
Bullet Maintain at least a 2.8 GPA (some participating employers require higher)
Bullet Maintain student status the semester following your internship (graduating seniors immedately continuing on to graduate-level study may also apply)
Bullet Have U.S. citizenship or be a documented individual legally authorized to work in the U.S. 
Bullet Make a commitment to attend the annual Leadership Development Conference (LDC), if selected

Bullet Include with your application a 500-word essay on how living with a disability has impacted your life
Bullet Include with your application a business-appropriate resume that includes your citizenship status under your name and GPA.
Bullet Submit a transcript for the latest completed semester
Bullet Check the Emerging Leaders website for application deadlines
